My Pursuit

So, you want to learn about me and my website designing skills, that’s why you clicked that pursuit link, right? It wasn’t easy getting to where I’m at today. In the beginning, I was completely lost. I’m a much better web designer now. I left some of my old stuff up, so you can compare. If you look around at some of my completed projects, you’ll see I found my way.

Adventurous. Courageous. Inspiring.

I like being creative, that’s one of the reasons why I started building websites. To me, it’s like putting together a 1000 piece puzzle. You start out all discombobulated, and before you know it, you got a masterpiece, kind of.

My Pursuit ~ How I Got Started

I started by learning HTML and other coding languages some time back in January, of 2017. Because I wanted to make sure I started my year off productively. I combined my training with some CSS for a visual characteristic. I included just enough JavaScript for a better user experience. But I didn’t stop there, I went on to learn PHP to help complete the picture. Are you starting to see the theme?

As you can see, I’m learning some of the more challenging compiled and curly bracket languages, such as; Python, C++, and SQL my biggest challenge yet. I like to keep my knowledge diversified, plus, I share what I learn.

I’m going to keep learning and expanding because that’s what I do. Come fly with me, there’s no telling what we can’t do together. It may at times seem like I have my hands full, but I put my heart into it. (See logo) Being creative is what I was meant to do, and I’m loving it.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to be abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strebgtheneth me. PHILIPPIANS 4:12-13

More About Me

Hi everybody, I’m glad you were able to visit my about me page here at Thank you for visiting me here at my website, you are more than welcome to come back, I’m always adding new and fresh content.  Really, I appreciate it when someone takes an interest in me or the work I love doing.  I suppose you are here to learn some more about me, right? Well, I better get to talking about me.

Getting To Know LeNard More

Ok, here I go.  By now you know my name.  Just in case you are not sure, my name is LeNard Simmons.  I like reading the Bible, learning the truth about God and his plan for mankind.  I’m no saint, but I believe that the Lord has my plan in full action as of now.

I am a registered, duly active Ordained Minister.  Why at times I don’t act the part, it dumbfounds me. I try my hardest to place to let go of all my old ways and putting God first.  As I stated before I ask and I know he hears. I ask him to always guide me, more like push me because I’m hard-headed and need Him.

About Me: Is Learning A Passion?

I like learning and sharing what I’ve learned with others. Love having the opportunity to learn, preach, talk and teach others about God, what I think I understand.

I like to cook most of my meals from scratch at home, so I guess that makes it homemade.  I’m talking cakes, pies, cookies, sauces, noodles, pizzas, dips, I could go on forever.  After all, this page is about me, right?

I believe in exercising the mind by reading a good intellectual book, not just the bible.  Would you believe I’m going to be 51 this year?  Do I look over half a century old?  I like to stay active, so you may find me engaging in some form of exercise or fitness program, and staying on top of my nutrition.

Also, I just discovered I got this thing for writing that just keeps getting better over time.  Have you had enough of me yet?  Cool, keep reading I’m still writing my story and taking my time.

The Amusement Ride

I’m a roller coaster of emotions, but then these days who is not.  I can make you laugh, cry, mad, and even confuse you, as well as myself.  I guess that’s what makes me as human as you. I’m not perfect so don’t expect to see me throwing stones.

I’m more comfortable in my own zone when I’m all alone. I sometimes find myself easily getting bored because there’s no challenge in going at anything alone. So, therefore, I try to surround myself with like-minded people, but often find myself in a mixed crowd, creating lasting memories and opportunities, fitting in just like a professional.

I like meeting people to know and understand them and letting them get to know me. I like listening to the daily challenges or achievements of others, to see if I can come up with a solution or a much more acceptable answer, to some of my own issues and challenges.  So I guess I’m in the right industry.

  1. Thank you for following me, Linda. I so badly want to tell my story and hope it encourages other people with a story to tell, tell theirs.

Just thinks about, I’m taking my dream of designing websites and I get to share my story. It’s a good feeling.

    Thank you Linda

  2. Hi! Nice to meet you and this was a really cool presentation. I study interaction design/UX design so I’m not so far away from building websites, though I’m not a programmer. I master some HTML and CSS but that’s it LOL:)
I’m also, just like you convinced that learning is a lifetime task, I will never stop learning new things.
Thanks for sharing and it will be fun to follow your adventures in the future.
